These works were all completed in the spring of 2010 from life, using a Wacom Tablet.

(so strange to do observational work looking at a computer screen, the subject, and making digital marks on a completely different surface with a stylus. I found it freeing, constricting, strange - something that could be mastered with time and effort but it would be a matter of getting the right program and a drive to do it.

It makes sense that this would be the wave of the future though - any color in endless quantity right next to your image, no mess, any kind of brush or size... kind of amazing.

Everyone who likes observational drawing and painting should try it just once, I think.
